sildenafil
Spedra contains the active ingredient Avanafil and is used to effectively treat erectile dysfunction. It has a quick onset of action in comparison to other treatment options available and many men find that it works effectively just 15 minutes after taking the pill. It is one of the most recent drugs to be released for use in the treatment of erectile dysfunction.

The active ingredient Avanafil is a type of drug called a PDE-5 (phosphodiesterase type 5) inhibitor, like the majority of drugs available for the treatment of erectile dysfunction. Spedra stops a particular enzyme in the body from working properly, preventing it from keeping the muscles surrounding the blood vessels in the penis tight. As a result, the blood vessels can widen and allow more blood to pass through and an erection to occur.

Regardless of the cause of erectile dysfunction, Spedra can work effectively as it affects the very last step of the erection process. However, as it works specifically on the physical side of things, it won't help to increase sexual desire.

According to studies, about half of the men who take Spedra report success, with greater doses yielding better outcomes. The mean proportion of success was found to be around 47 percent, 58 percent, and 59 percent for the 50mg, 100mg, and 200mg avanafil groups, respectively, compared to approximately 28 percent for the placebo group.
Spedra tablets should be swallowed as whole. It will be most active after 15 to 30 minutes if taken on an empty stomach, and will likely be active for 4 or more hours. Absorption may be delayed by up to 1.5 hours or more if taken on an empty stomach.

Spedra, like most erectile dysfunction medications, encourages natural erections. Treatment will not work unless there is sexual stimulation and/or foreplay. A tablet's effects would simply wear off after a few hours without it.

Spedra can be taken with or without meals, however, a high-fat meal may inhibit the medicine from being fully effective.

Spedra should not be taken with an excessive amount of alcohol. Drinking too much might cause headaches, dizziness, an elevated heart rate, or low blood pressure, and may diminish the medication's effectiveness.
Spedra's side effects are usually minor and only last a few minutes. These include:
  • Headache
  • Flushing
  • Nasal congestion
Which ED treatment works for you best depends on the individual and their sexual activity. Here is a few tips to help you make a selection:

Sildenafil (or Viagra) typically works within an hour of taking and last up to 4-5 hours. Sildenafil is the active ingredient of Viagra however, it is a generic version of the brand available at a cheaper price with the same actions. You may start taking sildenafil (or Viagra) at the typical dose of 50mg. This can then be decreased to 25mg or increased to 100mg depending on how you react to the 50mg dose.

Tadalafil is also common prescribed erectile dysfunction treatment. It is the generic version of Cialis and so considerably cheaper. Tadalafil is sometimes favoured as it lasts up to 36 hours after taking hence why we sometimes refer to it as the The Weekend Pill. Tadalafil also works faster being effective within 30 minutes. Some prefer using Tadalafil rather than Sildenafil as it is not effected by food. The standard prescribed dose for Tadalafil is 10mg which can be increased to 20mg if not effective. If you typically have sex more than 2x a week or are spontaneous with your sexual activity, you may prefer to try the 2.5-5mg dosing taken daily. If you are the type to have no schedule, then this is a perfect fit.

Vardenafil is another choice of ED treatment. It is the generic version of Levitra and so is considerably cheaper but offering the same mechanism of action. Vardenafil works within 30-60 minutes of taking and last for 5 hours. Similarly to Sildenadil, it works best on an empty stomach. The standard dose of 10mg is prescribed however, a lower or higher dose may be prescribed depending on several factors.

Spedra works to treat erectile dysfunction by improving the erectile response when a man is sexually stimulated. Avanafil is the generic name for the medication Spedra. The main advantage Spedra has over other PDE5 inhibitors is that it works quicker. It is absorbed into the bloodstream very rapidly, and reaches a maximum concentration in the body in about 30–45 minutes. The main advantage Spedra has over other PDE5 inhibitors is that it works quicker. Spedra is used to treat erectile dysfunction and will not directly help with premature ejaculation. An alternative medication that has been proven to help with premature ejaculation is Dapoxetine (Priligy) which you can purchase from our Click Doctor Men's Clinic.
